This is the opening tour of my project.  Starting point is the Holiday Inn at Alexanderplatz (Thea-Nolte-Str.) at 10 a.m. Highlights of the tour are:

Alexanderplatz, TV-tower, the mayor´s house (Rotes Rathaus), Nicolai Quarter with Knoblauch Museum, subway station  Klosterstraße, the  ruin of the Franciscan monastery, the courthouse (Landgericht), the medieval city wall, the Parochial church and the Humboldt Forum in the morning. After a lunch at the Humboldt University we continue  to the Museumisland , the Berlin Cathedral and reurn to the Holiday Inn. The tour length is about 5 to 7 kilomters. The charge is € 15.00 and includes lunch and a € 10.00 donation to a refugee organisation in Berlin.

Die erste Wanderung meines Projektes beginnt um 10 Uhr vor dem Holiday Inn Alexanderplatz (Thea-Nolte-Str.). Höhepunkte dieser Tour sind:

Alexanderplatz, Fernsehturm, Rotes Rathaus, Nicolai Viertel mit Besuch des Knoblauch Museums, U-Bahnhof Klosterstraße, die Ruine des Franziskaner Klosters, das Berliner Landgericht, die mittelalterliche Stadtmauer, die Parochialkirche und das Humbold Forum am Vormittag. Nach dem Mittagessen in der Kantine der Humbold Universität geht es dann über die Museumsinsel und den Berliner Dom zurück zum Holiday Inn, wo wir gegen 15 Uhr eintreffen werden. Die Wanderung ist etwa 5 bis 7 Kilometer lang. Es wird ein Kostenbeitrag von € 15,00 erhoben. Davon gehen € 10,00 an eine gemeinnützige Hilfsorganisation für Flüchtlinge. Das Mittagessen ist im Preis ebenfalls enthalten.
