The year 2016 is almost over. Time for a summary of a challenging year. The most important fact first: more than € 2000.00 have been collected over the year. This was a lot of money money to buy pampers, wet towels, baby shampoo and other things to support the refugees in Berlin. But on top of that I could donate money to support one child in Africa to continue going to school.Thanks to all the people, who supported me.

I made roughly 1.200 streets out of 12.000 and about 700 kilometers, which was less than I hoped. Next year I will add an extra day for each month to finish the project in less than 6 years. A total of 25 tours were offered to the public and almost 50 people joined me on the tours. Each tour was very different and showed cultural, social, historic and actual aspects.

My first reading of stories of my blog was a great success and will be continued in 2017. The dates are at February 2nd and March 16th in Wiesbaden and later in the year in Berlin as well. My blog has 60 stories by now and a few chapters have been included during the year. I am very happy, that I could find Edith B. after a difficult research in various medias. Edith B. will continue to tell me her life in 2017. We shall meet once a month to complete her biography.
This year will end soon, but a new year is almost to come. Which are the new challenges? First of all I will collect more money and the aim is do double this year´s amount. I will walk one more day in a month, but will do less conducted tours. That will give me more time to meet people and walk more Kilometers. On top of that I plan some spectecular Actions. So be prepared for a lot of interesting news in 2017.

Das Jahr 2016 neigt sich dem Ende. Da ist es Zeit für ein Resümee und einen Ausblick auf 2017. Zunächst einmal das Wichtigste: In diesem Jahr sind mehr als 2000 Euro an Spenden zusammen gekommen, die in Form von Windeln, feuchten Tüchern, Babynahrung an die Flüchtenden in Berlin weiter gegeben wurden. Es war sogar noch genügend Geld übrig, um damit eine Patenschaft für ein Kind in Afrika zu finanzieren. Damit kann dieses Kind ein Jahr die Schule besuchen. So bleibt ihm vielleicht dank besserer Ausbildung die Notwendigkeit der Flucht später erspart.
Ungefähr 1200 Straßen bin ich in Berlin gegangen, das sind etwa 700km und damit etwa 10 Prozent der Gesamtstrecke. Das ist leider viel weniger, als ich gehofft habe, und so wird es in 2017 jeden Monat einen zusätzlichen Wandertag geben, damit das Projekt in etwa sechs Jahren beendet sein wird. Insgesamt konntet Ihr an 25 geführten Wanderungen, jeweils zu einem anderen Thema, teilnehmen. Daran haben sich knapp 50 von Euch beteiligt.
Meine erste Lesungen mit Stories aus meinem Blog war sehr erfolgreich und wird 2017 fortgesetzt. Die ersten <Termine, jeweils am 2. Februar und 16. März in Wiesbaden, sind schon fest geplant. Weitere Termine werden in Berlin und Wiesbaden folgen. Besonders froh bin ich, dass ich Edith B. nach einer aufregenden Suche wirklich gefunden habe, und dass sie bereit war, mir ihr Leben zu erzählen. Das ist so spannend und vielseitig, dass es 2017 fortgesetzt wird.
Was ändert sich im neuen Jahr? Zunächst einmal möchte ich mindestens 4000 Euro einsammeln. Dafür gibt es schon konkrete Pläne. So werde ich mehr Kilometer wandern und einige spektakuläre Aktionen planen. Die Anzahl der geführten Touren wird zwar sinken, dafür gibt es aber sehr spannende Themen.
